For android instal DaVinci Resolve Studio 1812/31/2023 ![]() I need to know that so I can respond to their support ticket (or you can respond directly) to see where nVidia goes next with this driver issue. This all happened immediately after the GeForce Experience Studio Drive update.ĭid you try all what nVidia tech support suggested? ![]() ![]() ![]() It never gets above 68C to 69C which is more than safe. I monitor the GPU temp during the most stressful operation for the GPU which is Davinci Resolve set to render out an h.264 file using the nVidia GPU. The fans on the GPU worked fine UNTIL the nVidia driver update and then immediately the artifacting began. There was no overheating issue and lack of automatic fan ramp control. My response back to Myles at the Reno Computer Fix shop: We hope a good GPU comes your way so the system can continue to perform. Each change improved usability and the GPU BIOS flash fixed the fans, but it artifacts and crashes still. We then reflashed GPU BIOS to a known good firmware. Each of these increased performance but brought no improvement to the artifacting. In attempt to fix the performance of the GPU we set the fans manually to 100%, reset to the factory motherboard BIOS, used DDU for a reinstall of Nvidia drivers, and tested on an equivalent build with a flashed BIOS. The root of the GPU problems seems to have been firmware not allowing the fans to turn on automatically with temperature. Here is the response to your instructions as to what has been done after the GeForce Experience driver update that immediately caused the RTX2080ti to fail (artifacting): If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me.
